How we use your photo
Last updated
When you take a photo at the Astronaut Photobooth, we take a picture of you and upload it to an artificial intelligence (AI) image model which turns it into an astronaut picture. Your photo is stored temporarily on our server.
How long we keep it
Photos are kept only for the duration of the event, so that staff have a record. Afterwards we clear the photo files from the server by hand. Photos are not stored permanently or automatically.
Who can handle your photo
Generating the image uses a third-party service, Replicate, and your photo passes through their servers. Site staff can view all photos in the admin dashboard, solely to record how the event is running.
Will my photo be public?
No. Photos sit in a protected folder and can only be viewed by someone holding the private web address. We do not publish any photo.
If you enter an email address we will use it only to send you that one email containing your photo and its private link.
Deleting your photo
If you would like your photo deleted, or you disagree with anything above, please contact us at info@billyhau.hk. We will handle it as soon as we can.
